It’s no secret that weekend style is my favorite. I definitely have a uniform of sorts that I gravitate towards on the weekend. There’s typically one key component of that weekend look that might surprise you: a blazer. While blazers are typically looked at as office wear, they style beautifully for the weekend and are often seen as an unexpected look that really gives you some great pulled together vibes.  When pairing a blazer for weekend wear, there are a few things that I consider in order to get my “weekend uniform” just right.  1. Pair it with Denim.

Denim is the key to getting this weekend style just right. Grab your favorite ankle length skinnies or ankle length boyfriend jeans (distressed or dark denim is great) and pair them up with your blazer. This combo exudes a classic appeal that is a no fail pairing for me time after time. 2.  Grab your favorite tee.

I adore slightly oversized plain white v-neck tees to pair with my blazers. They are clean looking and add a casual element to your look. Graphic tees are also another great option for this. 3.  Shoes.

I adore pointed toe flats with my weekend uniform. However, heels, sandals and wedges also all look equally adorable. Choosing shoes that have a bit of fun to them are always my faves for the weekend.
4. Fun Accessories.

Pick a fun bag or some interesting accessories (be it a belt or jewelry) to accessorize your look. These are the items that really add to your blazer by taking it from business to play.  Here my belt and bag help to make your blazer look a bit more relaxed. Blazers aren’t just for the office anymore. In fact, blazers can serve as a weekend staple if styled with a relaxed vibe in mind as noted above.  They are the perfect way for you to look pulled together and chic on any weekend activity. What is your favorite way to style a blazer?
