The holidays are the perfect time to get a little more dressed up than usual. I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love getting a little more fancy than my usual. There’s something about it that just puts a little extra pep in your step and makes you feel absolutely amazing.
My hubby’s Christmas party was this past weekend and somehow I completely forgot to pick up a new dress for the event. I was so thrilled though because I remembered that I had this little gem in my closet. It was such a conversation starter at his event…everyone seemed to love it. The best part is that it can be worn time and time again to various events because it really seems to be an all season dress. I wore it this summer for our anniversary with strappy heels. However, for this event, in order to stay a little warmer, I threw on my trusty leather jacket and favorite pumps.
The jacket added a bit of casualness to it while still keeping my toasty. In addition, at under $100, it is a closet staple that you will wear and style time and time again. Furthermore, I must comment that these heels are shockingly pretty comfortable (for what they are at least :)). I’ve included a few tips below for purchasing Louboutins that are sure not to disappoint.
Tips for Purchasing Christian Louboutins:
I have a few pairs of Louboutins and I must say that some of them are easier to walk in than others. I would rate these as one of the more comfortable pairs (be sure to size up a half to a full size though if you’re considering purchasing them). I will say, if you are ever purchasing Louboutins and actually want to wear and walk in them fairly easily, get the 100mm heel height as they are infinitely more comfortable than their 120mm counterparts without sacrificing the beauty of the heel. I find that the 120mm are cab to table shoes. This means I can only wear them if I know we are going straight from the curb to the table at the restaurant in them and that’s it. However, if I plan on going to a movie, waking around, or dancing I will only wear the 100mm Louboutins. While the 100mm are still only for ladies that are used to wearing heels, they are a much better investment as you will actually get much more wear out of them and they have less likelihood of becoming a shelf ornament like the 120mm ones most likely will. 🙂
