TRANSITIONAL DRESSING: SUMMER TO FALL

IMG_1645

It’s that time of year again!  It’s the time of year where the temperatures are beginning to get a little cooler in the morning and at night.  This point in the year is a little difficult to dress for, as you are chilly in the morning hours on your way to work yet tend to get a lot warmer as the day goes on.  Your summer clothes might not fully work anymore, yet your fall wardrobe is still too hot to don all day.  The solution?  Layers.  My favorite way of doing this is by wearing a dress & a longer cardigan with some thicker heeled sandals or booties.  The longer cardigan helps to keep you warm despite the chilly morning temperatures.  However, as the day goes on, you can peel it off to reveal a cute dress!  To add an even more extensive Fall theme to your look, pair some booties with your dress &, if you’re feeling fancy, a hat.  The bottom line… layers are key to surviving this portion of the season.

Happy Friday Eve!

xoxo,

Abbie
