If you’re anything like me, you get to spend most of your days at work.  This means as much as I love distressed denim and shorts, I don’t get to wear them nearly as often as I’d like because they aren’t exactly viewed as professional attire.  I thought it might be helpful to feature some of the looks that I’m wearing to work throughout the week as well as my weekend wardrobe.

In terms of work pants, these pixie pants from Old Navy are my favorite.  Honestly, I have had the hardest time finding a pair of work pants that I actually like.  I was shocked when I found these at Old Navy on a whim once I grew frustrated with the work pant selection at my other favorite shops.  I was happily surprised to find that they were the slimmest fitting to my legs of all that I tried on and had quite a bit of stretch.  I plan on purchasing a few more pairs soon as I know I’ll get plenty of wear out of them in the coming months!

This classic little jacket has quickly become a favorite of mine.  It easily drapes over your shoulders to keep the office’s icy air off your shoulders but in doing so adds such a classic vibe to your look.  I can’t wait to pair it with a pencil skirt this next week (look for that look soon)!    It has a Chanel-esque flair for a mere fraction of the price.

Finally, you may remember how I styled this top for the weekend here.  I thought it might be interesting to see how it translated into my work wardrobe this past week.  I loved it so much that I also purchased it in black.  I can’t wait to pair it with a blazer soon!

Hope Labor Day weekend treated you all incredibly well!  Only a four day work week this week!  Hope you all have something amazing planned this week!
